January 18, 2024

Share your thoughts, exercise your membership voting power and help chart the course for a successful Oklahoma beef industry. OCA membership is required to attend and members have the ability to propose policy ideas.

Spring District Meetings

February 2024

Join us for our annual District Meetings. Enjoy a delicious steak dinner, sponsor presentations, updates from Oklahoma Beef Council, discuss Legislative issues and elect District delegate for the OCA Nomination Committee. 

OYE Futurity Sale

March 16 & 19, 2024

The Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association coordinates a steer and heifer sale each year during Oklahoma Youth Expo. Animals bought in this sale is eligible for the show back the next year.

Beef Day at the Capitol

May 8, 2024

The purpose of Beef Day is to provide our elected officials and those that work with them a tasty beef meal while promoting beef and building relationships. 

Convention + Trade Show

July 19 & 20, 2024

The convention and trade show is a can't miss event for Oklahoma cattle producers and industry partners. Join us during this 2-day event for education, networking, and more. The event is a family friendly event, so bring the whole crew!

Ranch Rodeo

August 16 & 17, 2024

The OCA Ranch Rodeo features 12 historic Oklahoma ranch teams in head to head competition for bruises and bragging rights. The OCA event is comprised of six events depicting day-to-day ranching jobs

Fall Gatherings

October + November

Fall Gatherings provide OCA members an opportunity to fellowship with area cattlemen in a casual atmosphere while gaining tips on how to protect our livelihood and enhance production practices.  In an effort to recruit new OCA members, we encourage members to invite friends, family and neighbors.

Quarterly Board Meetings

January, May, July and November

The OCA holds a board of directors meeting quarterly. These meetings are open to OCA membership.

Photo Contest

December 2024

Submit your favorite pictures of livestock or people participating in day-to-day agricultural events. Winners will receive OCA General Store bucks and be featured in the January Cowman.

Cattlemen's Leadership Academy

January, April, August & October

The OCA Cattlemen’s Leadership Academy (CLA) is targeted for beef producers ages 25 – 40.  The program is designed to develop young members through industry exposure, education and communication.
