We are excited to host an AgVocacy Seminar, Feb. 8, 2018!
It seems that as the number of those engaged in production agricul ture decreases, so does the gap in agricultural literacy. Agricultural lite racy is the term used to describe the public’s knowledge of agricultu re. The term Ag-Vocacy is simply advocating for agriculture and that is so mething that all of us can and should be doing.
This year's Oklahoma Cattlemen's Foundation Seminar will focus on how farmers and ranchers can tell their story. We'll talk about the different avenues we have to do so, reliable sources to draw from, how to find the right audience and how to i ncorporate Ag-Vocacy into your everyday life without having to sit down and write a blog and take part in a speaking engagement.
