The OCA Range Round Up features 12 historic Oklahoma ranch teams in head to head competition for bruises and bragging rights. The OCA Range Round-Up is comprised of six events depicting day-to-day ranching jobs.
These events include such things as the Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Sorting, Wild Cow Milking, Team Branding, Team Penning, and the Wild Horse Race. The competition is fierce as ranches compete for a year’s worth of bragging rights, and a few team awards. The contestants compete for the coveted “Top Hand,” “Top Horse,” and “Tough Hand’ awards.
The OCA Range Round-Up looks forward to returning to the State Fair Arena on August 23rd and 24th, for it’s 29th Annual Event. Some call the event, "cowboys helping kids", and for good reason since the selected charity has been the Children's Miracle Network, Supporting Children's Medical Research Institute for 15 years. In that time more than $420,000 has been raised to help children.
The OCA Range Round-Up is sanctioned by the Working Ranch Cowboys Association and the Champion team at our event represents Oklahoma at the world competition each year.
