The Richard Gebhart Scholarship was established to support and encourage students who are passionate about the beef industry and committed to furthering their education beyond a bachelor’s degree. This scholarship honors the legacy of Richard Gebhart and his dedication to agriculture, leadership, and the cattle industry. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to deserving students who demonstrate strong character, academic achievement, leadership involvement, and a passion for the future of the beef industry. 

Through this scholarship, the Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association continues its commitment to investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders. Scholarship recipients exemplify the values of hard work, service, and dedication that Richard Gebhart represented throughout his life. The OCA is proud to support students as they pursue advanced educational and career goals while making a positive impact on the cattle industry and their communities. Applicants must complete the online scholarship form submission and submit a resume, cover letter, essay, and two letters of recommendation.
